Freeholder Sparacio asked for clarification. CFO Gerald Seneski stated that the State contracted with Mercadian Associates to audit Social Services. He said they came unannounced and a couple of the things they asked for were not readily available simply because the people that handled those things were not in the office. Had they known they were coming, arrangements would have been made to ensure whatever they needed was readily available. He stated all items were provided very quickly and a corrective action plan is in place.
