Body

WHEREAS, on August 23, 2016, this Board duly adopted Resolution 2016-380, Awarding A Competitive Contracting Contract For Providing The Nutrition Program For The Elderly Of Cumberland County; RFP 16-34 (Wroniuk LLC, DBA Wheat Road Cold Cuts); and

WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has advised that it is necessary to amend Resolution 2016-380 based on a price increase based on a 2.4% change in the Consumer Price Index published by the U.S. Department of Labor.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDERS  OF THE COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND, as follows:

That this Board hereby authorizes an amendment to Resolution 2016-380 regarding the price increase based on 2.4% change in Consumer Price Index published by the U.S. Department of Labor.  The new price shall remain firm for a one (1) year period from the anniversary date of the contract.  New rates to be $4.17 per unit and $5.12 per unit for frozen meal from September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2018.

Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Chosen Freeholders held at the Cumberland County Administration Building, 164 West Broad Street in Bridgeton, New Jersey on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., prevailing time.
