WHEREAS, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Children’s System of Care’s (CSOC) Contracted Systems Administrator, PerformCare, will authorize services for youth between the ages of 13-24 years of age who meet specific criteria to receive substance abuse treatment services; and

WHEREAS, the service delivery are limited to providers who had been providing services to adolescents under the age of 18 as represented by claims information in the prior fiscal year under the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDERS OF THE COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND, as follows:

That this Board hereby authorizes its Department of Human Services to participate in the Children’s System Of Care (CSOC) South Jersey Initiative (SJI) with the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) to prevent the onset and reduce the progression of substance abuse, including underage drinking.

Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Chosen Freeholders held at the Cumberland County Administration Building, 164 West Broad Street, Bridgeton, New Jersey on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time.
