              WHEREAS, NJSA 40A:4-87 provides that the Director of the Division of Local Government Services may approve the insertion of any special item of revenue in the budget of any county or municipality when such item shall have been made available by law and the amount thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the budget, and

 

              WHEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of an item of appropriation for an equal amount, and

 

              WHEREAS, the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Cumberland will receive funding of $505,848.72 from the State of New Jersey, Department of Transportation,  2015 Transportation Capital Program for local bridge projects and wishes to amend its 2017 Budget to include this amount as revenue, and

 

              NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Cumberland hereby requests the Director of the Division of Local Government Services to approve the insertion of an item of revenue in the budget of the year 2017 in the sum of $505,848.72 which is now available as revenue.

             

              BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $505,848.72 be and the same is hereby appropriated under the caption of:

             

              State of New Jersey, Department of Transportation

2015 Local Bridges, Future Needs………………....$505,848.72                                         

                            Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Cumberland held at the County Administration Building, 164 W. Broad Street, in the City of Bridgeton, New Jersey, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. prevailing time.
