WHEREAS, on March 28, 2017, this Board duly adopted Resolution 2017-185, Authorizing Submission And Acceptance Of Grant Application OJJDP FY 2017 Safe And Thriving Communities: Planning And Collaboration To The Office Of Juvenile Justice And Delinquency Prevention in an amount not to exceed $333,000.00 for the period of 10/01/2017 through 03/31/2019; and

WHEREAS, the US Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile and Delinquency Prevention has advised that it is necessary to amend Resolution 2017-185 for an increase in the amount of award and project period.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDERSĀ  OF THE COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND, as follows:

That this Board hereby authorizes an amendment to Resolution 2017-185 changing the award from an amount not to exceed $333,000.00 to a corrected amount of $737,769.00; and

changing the project end date from 3/31/2019 to 9/30/2020.

Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Chosen Freeholders held at the Cumberland County Administration Building, 164 West Broad Street in Bridgeton, New Jersey on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., prevailing time.
